BVB: Nuri Sahin toying with Dortmund

Nuri Sahin, currently coaches at the Turkish first division of Antalyaspor, has issued a return to Borussia Dortmund as a destination.

Nuri Sahin Farewell - Dortmund Fans Honour Former BVB Player "I'm very happy here. I want to stay here. But of course I have goals: I want to win trophies. I want to be successful. I want to train Dortmund," said the former BVB player in a video interview with tivibu spor.

The coaching office for Tav Fraport Antalyaspor in the Turkish Süper Lig took over Sahin a bit surprisingly in mid-October. In the last ten games, the 33-year-old lost no match with his team, at a balance sheet of seven victories and three draws. According to his own statement, however, he still has a five-year contract at Antalyaspor.

As a player, the then midfielder director had his most successful time at Dortmund: In 2005, he became his BVB debut with 16 years of the then recent Bundesliga player. Overall, he played 274 competitive games for the black and yellow, with which he also became Master (2011) and Cup winner (2017).
